Leveraging recent advancements in rare earth magnet technology, the company evolved from the acclaimed Apheta 2 to the Apheta 3, which represents a significant leap forward. The Apheta 3 incorporates state-of-the-art “Fine Line” diamond stylus profiles mounted at a 90-degree angle—the same approach used in the Aphelion 2 reference model—enabling even greater detail extraction from vinyl grooves, delivering a more immersive musical experience. This cartridge features a powerful neodymium magnet and a meticulously hand-wound coil situated on an iron cross that is 50% smaller than the MK1 version, allowing enhanced groove tracking accuracy. Encased in a fully redesigned, anodized single-piece aluminum body, the Apheta 3 is protected by a CAD-engineered smoked rigid cover to safeguard delicate internal wiring during installation.
