The Planar 10 draws inspiration from Rega’s flagship Naiad turntable and features an ultra-light skeletal plinth constructed with a Tancast 8 core and a high-pressure laminate (HPL) finish. It is the first production turntable to incorporate ceramic bracing, providing a highly rigid platform for the precision reference RB3000 tonearm and custom central bearing. Equipped with a bespoke ceramic oxide platter, diamond-cut for exceptional accuracy and speed stability, the Planar 10 is powered by a 24 V synchronous motor controlled by the advanced P10-PSU. This power supply ensures minimal motor vibration, electronic fine speed tuning, and seamless speed changes, enabling unmatched detail retrieval from vinyl.
