White Peony tea (Bai Mudan, 白牡丹) is a classic Chinese white tea grown in the northeastern corner of Jiangxi Province. Crafted from a single bud and the two youngest adjacent leaves, this tea undergoes minimal oxidation to preserve its natural character. The leaves are sun-dried, gently heaped, and lightly baked until fully dried, with careful handling throughout the process to prevent breakage and maintain whole-leaf quality.
