For orientation and connection––a circular map of time (similar to a calendar) that begins with the rising of Makaliʻi, the Hawaiian New Year and Makahiki season. The Compass links lunar months, seasons, and celestial events so you can visualize both Hawaiian and Gregorian systems at once.
