Optimize your Fluval AquaClear hang on back filters by swapping the intake. Switching to ours allows you to run a pre filter sponge. This extends the life of your media inside the filter and adds extra mechanical and biological filtration capacity. Made to fit your intake, the angle keeps the pre filter away from the glass and off the bottom. 

AquaClear 20/30/50 Adapter Dimensions: 3.25″ x 4″ (fits Medium Pre-Filter Sponge)

AquaClear 70/110 Adapter Dimensions: 6.25″ x 5.5″ (fits Large Pre-Filter Sponge)

Note: Because this optimizer was designed to fit snugly, please use caution and pull directly out when servicing as it may become damaged if handled roughly. These parts are 3D printed with material that is sensitive to higher temperature. Do not place in direct sunlight, dishwasher, microwave, or hot water, as it may cause damage to the product.
